Benefits of Snow Fungus 

Snow fungus, also known as Tremella Mushroom or 银耳, is a superfood and one of the longevity herbs in TCM. It is known as the "beauty mushroom" and recognized as one of the best herbs to maintain the health of the skin. Besides, it is cheap and affordable (as compared to the bird's nest)

Snow Fungus with Lotus Seeds Recipe 

Ingredients: 

1. 25g of snow fungus 

2. 15g of Lotus seeds 

3. 7-9 red dates 

4. 15g of goji berries 

5. 3-4 cups of water 

6. 60g of rock sugar.


Preparation steps: 

1. Soak the snow fungus in water for 20-30mins. Trim off the bottom of the fungus that is tough. And cut the rest into smaller pieces.   

2. Wash the lotus seeds. 

3. Remove the seeds of the red dates. 


Cooking steps: 

1. Place everything into the rice cooker. Add water. 

2. Press the button to "cook soup" or cook for an hour and a half. 

3. Add the rock sugar to taste and goji berries. 

4. Simmer for another 10mins.
